Registered Dietitians can be involved in so many different fields and tasks, while some may work in hospitals as clinical dietitians, others may work in the industry, partnering with private food companies in giving sound food and nutrition advice.

I find most enjoyment in creating recipes or modifying familiar, well-loved dishes into healthier ones 🤍. Every recipe is tried and tested multiple times before sharing so anyone should be able to repeat the procedures and end up with the same result in the convenience of your home kitchen.

With the vast number of work Registered Dietitians can be involved in, I have struggled to choose what type of dietitian I would like to be: working in the hospital was exciting and I loved the fast pace but is it really what I suit best?

There is a saying: “Choose a job you love and you will never have to work a day in your life” - I know it’s mostly over-simplistic but when I have my spatula in one hand my wok in the other, and after countless attempts, a healthy, scrumptious recipe is born, in that brief moment, this quote will pop up in my head and I am exactly where I should be.
